The new training offer of the ICIF Coffee Academy with theoretical-practical lessons carried out by trainers with recognized experience, a full-immersion course with the possibility of choosing between just 3 days or a 5-day complete course, with the aim of creating coffee shop professionals in the HO.RE.CA. sector. Aimed at barmen and bartenders but also at enthusiasts and beginners, who will be taken by the hand and guided by a team of experts, to live a new and concrete growth experience. The study program allows you to know the correct techniques for the preparation of Italian espresso coffee, cappuccino and the main Italian coffee products, the techniques for perfect frothing of milk but also the different applied techniques of Latte Art (free pouring, etching and decorations). In addition to the new innovative proposal in the world of the Cafeteria of "Coffee Flair": with the aim of making tomorrow's professionals increasingly specialized, increasing the quality of the service by enhancing the final experience of the customer, who is increasingly attentive and demanding today.

The course is in Italian language and teachers are supported by an interpreter in English language.

Maximum attendance: 16.

DURATION

The course has a total duration of 40 HOURS developed over 5 days or optionally of 24 HOURS developed over 3 days, at the Headquarters of the ICIF Institute.

CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA

  • Certificate of participation from the ICIF Institute at the completion of the course

LESSONS TOPICS

Monday
  • Introduction to the world of coffee: the fruit, the bean, the history

  • Countries of production and varieties (Arabica, Robusta, etc.)

  • Harvesting techniques

  • Coffee tasting session

  • Practical session - French presses with Arabica and Robusta

  • Equipment, accessories and key ingredients, to promote speed and efficiency

  • Practical sessions on the espresso machine – recipe for espresso coffee grinder regulations.

  • Cleaning session – pulyhopper, Pulicaff Puliygrind

Complete course 5 days: € 1,350

Course 3 days: € 950

A discount is available for former students.


Included in the price of the course:

  • Accommodation at the ICIF's guesthouse for the duration of the Course, in small apartments (2-rooms flats with single, twins or triple rooms and one bathroom)

  • Breakfast from Monday to Friday

  • Meals (lunch and dinner) in the school canteen from Monday to Friday
